Stockroom Assistant

• Verify packing slip and order to ensure accuracy
• Replenish and stock products as received
• Unpack products received by store and count, weigh or sort items
• Order stock
• Ensuring shelves and storage areas are stocked with the right product
• Unpacking and breaking down merchandise cartons and pallets
• Price items using stamp or stickers according to price list
• Providing exceptional customer service and assisting customers in locating and selecting the best solutions
• Cleaning display cases, shelves, aisles and work areas
• Knowledge of operating POS terminals and scanners, using basic computer software and hardware
• Operate cash register

Work conditions and physical capabilities

• Ability to stand for 8 hour shifts and lift up to 50 pounds
• Repetitive tasks such as, handling heavy loads, i.e. lifting full cartons/case packs from pallet to location
• Bending, crouching, kneeling, scanning in a repetitive motion or for long periods of time
• Work Term: Permanent
• Work Language: English
• Hours: 41 hours per week
• Required to work Saturday

Salary: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
