Homestead Marketplace, the heart of community-driven commerce in Quinte West, is expanding its vibrant team with an opportunity for a dedicated Sales Associate at our Custom Carts location at 6A Douglas Road, Trenton. Joining our team as a Sales Associate in a unique setting! Our new sales associate will have the opportunity to represent Custom Carts and Homestead Marketplace companies at our shared showroom space. Their role will involve welcoming and assisting customers, offering a diverse range of carts, trailers, and accessories all under one roof. They will become an important part of our dynamic team and make a difference in providing exceptional customer service!

About Custom Carts

Custom Cart has been delivering exceptional products and services since 2006. With a relentless commitment to innovation and customer satisfaction, we have become a trusted name in the transportation industry. Our customers can experience our ½ kilometer paved test path where they can test drive their desired vehicle before purchase. Our facility features a 7,000 sq. ft. parts & service center, a 180’ long covered drop-off and pick-up service lane, an on-site wash bay, and a 20,000 sq. ft. indoor, heated parking and storage garage. We offer an extensive selection of carts (MadJax, Yamaha, Club Car, etc.) and cart accessories. We also specialize in trailers, with brands like N&N, Haulin, and Remeq.

Homestead Marketplace is a collection of 12 like-minded, community-driven companies locally owned and operated. It is a destination where families will come together to shop, eat, and play – all with a strong focus on giving back to our community. Located at 6 Douglas Road in Quinte West, by the end of 2023 the 18-acre property will offer over 165,000 sq. ft. of premium, national retailers, casual dining restaurants, a fully-licensed sports grill, 24-hour gym and a one-of-a-kind 18-hole adventure golf and high ropes park.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage customers, offering advice and insights into our extensive product range.
  • Keep informed on industry trends and updates, becoming an expert our customers trust.
  • Demonstrate strong sales skills by showcasing products, overcoming objections, and closing sales efficiently while maintaining excellent customer relations.
  • Assist customers with financing options and paperwork, ensuring a smooth and compliant sales transaction.
  • Coordinate with the service department to ensure that purchased vehicles are prepared to customer satisfaction and ready for delivery.
  • Conduct post-sale follow-ups to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Work with management and marketing team to sharpen our showroom's competitive edge.
  • Utilize training resources to stay ahead in product knowledge and sales techniques.

  • Monday to Friday 8:30-5
  • Saturdays 8-12
