JOB DESCRIPTION:

Frazier Industrial Company is the leading manufacturer of racking systems, with its headquarters located in Long Valley, NJ. The Production Manager position is full time and based at one of our shop locations in Trenton, ON. We are looking for someone who likes a challenging environment and is dedicated to accomplishing goals. This position will handle shop floor operations, supervision, and serve as a backup to the plant manager. The work schedule is to be determined.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned or requested.

Communicate effectively with team members about quality standards, safe working environment, state of business, policy and procedures, and production goals).

Supervision of production Team Members (e.g., interviewing, hiring, performance appraisals, discipline, training, documentation, counseling, coaching, promoting teamwork, motivating.)

Establishing work schedules, coverage for absences, and insuring production goals are met.

Prepare report summaries; Ensure production plans in place, followed with monitoring.

Coach, counsel and monitor employees work habits, personal habits and use of proper PPE.

Back-up for Plant Management.

Completes other duties as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:

7-10 years’ experience in supervision of fabricating and welding manufacturing.

Good verbal and written skills in English; ability to work with all employees; Ability to utilize as well as create effective Excel spreadsheets. Use Word, Express Outlook, PowerPoint, MES, and Epicor.

High level of accuracy in basic math and use of 10 key calculator.

Proficient in reading blueprints.

Ability to associate cause and effect relationships and determine patterns of activity in anticipation of change to the operation or personnel.

Job Type: Full-time

Experience:

• Industrial Production Management: 5 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

• CWB Licence (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Trenton, ON K8V 6R7: Relocate before starting work (required)
