Golfshape Development Inc. specializes in golf course construction and landscaping services.

Now hiring for golf course construction/renovation labourers in the Belleville and Kingston areas. Additional travel may be required.

Duties:

• Perform golf course construction duties including some equipment operation.
• Perform grounds construction labour duties using tools (hand and power) and equipment.
• Complete all duties and tasks as assigned, including but not limited to; earthworks such as moving topsoil, trenching, drainage, irrigation, fencing and erosion control, and lawn/sod maintenance.
• Other projects as required.

Requirements:

• Operate various tools, small engine equipment and vehicles, measurement and survey equipment, hand tools, etc.
• Operate or learn to operate tractors and other construction equipment.
• Willing and able to work in various weather conditions.
• Physically fit and able to complete demanding outdoor work.
• Good communication skills: able to follow direction as well as provide feedback.
• Have a positive and respectful attitude.
• Must have valid driver’s license with clean driver’s abstract and reliable transportation.
• Safety boots and gloves are required. Workwear suitable for weather conditions.
• Landscape and/or golf course construction experience is an asset.
• Punctual and available to work weekends and holidays if required.

Pay rate will be based upon experience. Starting at $20 - $23 / hour with opportunity for growth and advancement. Only applicants selected for an interview will be contacted.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $20.00-$23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road
