Lily Rain Recovery Center is looking for Addictions Workers
Accepting applications from Men and Women
Using Solution Focused therapy, CBT, SMART Recovery and 12 Steps, art-therapy, group work and one on one
Responsibilities Include
A team-based approach in decision making.
Facilitate psycho-educational groups e.g.; boundaries, anger management, stress management, life skills , relapse prevention etc
Monitor client progress, coordinate client care with team and complete any required documentation. Case management skills are required.
Respond to crisis and urgent situations in an empathetic and professional manner.
Those with lived experience are encouraged to apply.
Familiar with either 12 step or SMART recovery models
Facilitating psychoeducational groups, following binder provided using empathetic and approachable skills
Completion of a college or university program in social work, psychology, addictions or health-related discipline is required
Previous work experience in a social service environment or addictions facility is required
We are abstinence-based facility.
Recent vulnerable sector check is required
Recent CPR is required
