POSITION: Academic Office Administrative Assistant
Start Date: Monday, November 21, 2022 (preferred - but can be adjusted to
meet the needs of the successful candidate)
DESCRIPTION: Albert College seeks an energetic professional with excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills along with a technical aptitude related to software and databases. The Academic Office Administrative Assistant is responsible for developing and maintaining students, staff and family relationships, customer service operations in the Academic Office, managing the learning management system (Edsby), working with databases including all transcripts, textbook management, compilation of convocation awards, university/college submissions, Ontario Student Records, and coordination of all office support systems. The Academic Office Administrative Assistant will strengthen Albert College by supporting all Academic Office programs.
Salary: Salary is commensurate with experience and qualifications. The College offers benefits including health and pension plans. The job description is attached.

Office Administration diploma required as well as a minimum of two-three years related work experience. Database experience an asset.
Well-developed organizational and communication skills, analytical and problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Ability to work independently or as part of a team, setting priorities and achieving goals while dealing with deadlines, interruptions and ad-hoc requests.
High level office computing skills for word-processing, databases and communications, including experience with Excel, Word, E-mail and web browsers.
Technical aptitude to be able to utilize software and trouble shoot for all users in the school.
Wage range: $42,000-$44,000
