Requirements

• Min 3 years experience erection of structural steel and miscellaneous metals
• Able to Work at Heights
• Must be physically fit and meet the physical demands of the trade
• Ticketed Ironworker Journeyman preferred or equivalent experience
• Welding experience an asset
• Excellent knowledge of reading erection drawings/plans
• Valid Ontario Working at Heights FAP (fall arrest protection) and AWP (aerial work platform) preferred
Skills
• An awareness and respect for health and safety working practices; strict adherence to safe work practices is essential
• Professional conduct and excellent ambassador of TAZARMC on site.
• Must have good practical skills for using tools, logic and problem-solving ability
• Able to work safely under pressure
• Good listening skills and the ability to follow verbal/ written instructions
• Be accurate, organized and have a methodical approach to work
• Understands quality assurance requirements for all related tasks

Other Compensation Details

Hourly Rate:
$38.00 to $43.00 – Rate can be negotiated based on experience and skills level
• Above average wage package
• Travel allowance to and from projects
• Meal allowance – daily per deim
• Accommodations by TAZARMC.
