The Mental Health Supervisor collaborates and coordinates the programs and services provided by the child and youth worker and team focused on mental health and well-being. This role provides ongoing supervision, organizes professional development, and builds capacity as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary student services team to address complex needs of students. In this role, the Mental Health Supervisor collaborates with the Mental Health Lead to create and implement the ALCDSB mental health strategy and action plan as required.
What you bring to the team:
· Completion of graduate post-secondary education in social work or psychology
· Registered and in good standing with either the Ontario College of Social Workers and Social Service Workers (OCSWSSW) or College of Psychologists and Behaviour Analysts of Ontario
· Minimum of five years of clinical experience working with children and youth as well as supervisory experience
· Knowledge of School Mental Health Ontario and Social and Emotional Learning (SEL) programming
· Ontario Class G driver’s licence
