The Driver/Warehouse Support role will be accountable for carrying out daily delivery responsibilities in a secure, effective, and professional manner. The job includes warehouse support responsibilities. The candidate will be able to work independently, strong verbal and oral communication, and prioritizes providing excellent customer service.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily deliveries to customer job sites and shops, pick up customer returns and purchase orders at vendors
  • Responsible for the cleanliness of the vehicle, driving safely and securing vehicle load at all times
  • Responsible for carrying proper documentation in vehicle at all times, i.e. license, Insurance, CVOR
  • Unload truck upon return to the branch with any incoming freight
  • Order picking, shipping, and receiving, as well as forklift operation when necessary, during periods of slow delivery
  • Other related duties as assigned by the branch manager

Qualifications:

You Must Have:

  • Minimum two (2) years of delivery driving experience, including loading, and unloading
  • Valid G Class license with clean driving record/abstract
  • Attention to details, excellent time-management, and organizational skills
  • Strong interpersonal, problem-solving and relationship building skills
  • Ability to safely lift up to of 50lbs
  • Previous experience using Electronic Signature Capture devices is an asset

Nice to Have:

  • Knowledge of Plumbing and HVAC products
  • Forklift certifications
  • Knowledge of local routes
