Bay of Quinte Entrepreneurs: Aesthetics by Lindsay Ann

Owner of Aesthetics by Lindsay Ann, Lindsay Bunnett, is an expert in the professional services industry, offering a whole host of specialized treatments, including facials, microneedling, chemical peels, waxing, manicures and pedicures, and also offers skincare consultations.

Lindsay’s passion for elite customer service was sparked by her time at Loyalist College. “I knew from the moment I started the program that I was in the right place,” she explained. After graduating, she maintained long-term employment with local spas to gain the knowledge in her field with the goal of opening her own treatment facility.

Opening her own business wasn’t without its challenges, though. “The hardest thing was the decision to start a business in this economy,” she told us. “With a lot of uncertainty, the fear was a lot to grasp, but I am so happy I took this leap. It has been an amazing experience,” she continued.

Lindsay’s advice to aspiring entrepreneurs in the Bay of Quinte region is to be resilient and network within the community.

“My advice is to push through and continue to market and network. I highly encourage business owners to join their local Chamber of Commerce and reach out to local marketing companies. It truly takes a village, and having the extra community support will truly help you feel like ‘you got this.’”

In her free time, Lindsay enjoys the outdoor amenities and walking trails around Belleville, and spending time at local shops and restaurants. “When I became a business owner in the Bay of Quinte region, it truly made me realize the importance of supporting local. It’s a great feeling knowing your hard-earned money is going directly back into the community.” Her favourite local spots are Doki Doki, Capers, and Benji’s Coffee Bar.

Aesthetics by Lindsay Ann is always looking out for new trends to stay fresh and relevant. “I’m always evolving with this industry; it’s constantly changing. I just finished a major spa renovation to mark my two-year milestone and added a few new treatment options. Always be on the lookout for the latest and greatest!”
