Welch LLP is currently hiring for a temporary Tax Season Assistant for our Campbellford office. This position is for three months and will be on-site at our office in Campbellford.
Qualifications:
- Experience as a receptionist or office manager
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong customer service focus
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work with numbers; demonstrates accuracy
- Ability to follow directions, instructions/procedures efficiently and accurately
- Works well under pressure
- Strong teaming skills
- Accounting or bookkeeping experience would be an asset
- Ability to work overtime, if required
Responsibilities:
- Sort and calculate client tax information for return preparation and processing afterwards
- Process client payments of cash, cheque or POS
- Printing, emailing, faxing, filing and updating/maintaining detailed tracking lists
- Respond accurately and timely to partner, staff and outside requests
- Call clients to let them know their returns are ready for pickup
- Other responsibilities as needed
