Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical service and installation with proficiency in reading blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on variety of projects in various environments, including but not limited to construction, renovation, and maintenance tasks. The Electrician will ensure that all electrical installations and repairs are performed safely and efficiently to code.

Here is what we are looking for
Possess a valid 309A Electrician license.
CFAA Fire Alarm Technician license (preference given to applicants who possess this)
Bondable (you are eligible to be insured. Able to handle and maintain company and customer proprietary information. The ideal candidate will pass a background check and will be free of charges or a criminal record. We respect and abide by Ontario law regarding privacy and confidentiality.)
A valid class driver’s license with a clean abstract/driving record
Excellent and effective communication skills to interact with clients and team members professionally

Basic computer skills
Demonstrate an excellent work ethic in daily tasks
Desire for continuous training and skills improvement
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings in accordance with relevant current codes
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical schematics to determine project requirements
Strong knowledge of electrical theory, wiring methods, and safety practices
Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete tasks effectively
Ability to manual lift and or carry objects that are approximately 45 kg/99.2lbs
Zero to few limitations or required modifications to work, where for short to long periods of time, the work will require:
Sitting, standing, carrying, climbing, kneeling, stooping, working at heights, working in tight spaces
Troubleshoot electrical issues and implement solutions promptly
Ability to work independently or as a part of a team while demonstrating excellent problem-solving skills
Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure projects are completed on time and within specifications
Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or necessary repairs
Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used
Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety regulations, and effective communication with inspectors. When corrections are required, apply them promptly and use clear and cooperative language and always be prepared to ask questions and verify code references to ensure mutual understanding and a smooth process.
Qualifications
Proven experience as an Electrician in residential, industrial, or commercial settings
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, and fixtures
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and safety equipment used in electrical work
Experience with low voltage systems
Previous service and maintenance person experience is beneficial for diverse project needs
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication skills to work effectively with team members and clients. The right candidate will need to be able to work as an individual with zero to limited supervision and as part of a team.
