Reports to:  Production Supervisor

About this role: Operators will operate, adjust, changeover and maintain high-speed beverage production lines. These positions require strong trouble-shooting skills, the ability to solve problems and a strong desire to learn. They must be able to work well individually and as part of a team handling multiple priorities in an ever-changing environment. Strong interpersonal skills and effective written and verbal communication skills are essential with the ability to work in an ever-changing environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor packaging line equipment. Be proficient in machine set up, operation, and basic troubleshooting of equipment such as the laner, case packer and palletizer
Ensure all supplies (corrugate, glue, etc.) are stocked and refilled for production.
Maintain all equipment and work areas by following proper cleaning procedures.
Ensure all production documentation is completed accurately.
Compliance with the Company’s Integrated Management Systems which includes, but is not limited to Production, Quality, Food Safety & GMP.
Compliance with all rules & policies regarding health safety, occupational safety, environmental safety, food safety, legal regulations, company requirements, etc.
Other duties as assigned.

Profile:

Grade 12 or equivalent level of education. Post-secondary education in related fields is an asset.
Experience working in a manufacturing environment is an asset.
Comfortable with extensive standing, walking, bending and lifting up to 50 lbs.
Strong technical aptitude and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting production equipment.
Ability to work independently as well as collaborate with others to accomplish objectives.
Strong written and verbal communication skills to complete production documentation and coordinate with cross functional teams.
Demonstrated attention to detail, proactive attitude and continuous improvement mindset.
Comfortable working rotating shifts and flexible with changes as our company grows.
