Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering outstanding customer service while assisting customers with their jewellery needs. Your goal is to assist customers in finding the perfect piece of jewellery, handle jewellery repairs, and build long-lasting relationships. You’ll have the opportunity to work with a wide variety of fine jewellery, engage with customers and make a difference in their shopping experience. Our business hours are: Tuesday – Friday 10-5pm, Saturday 10-3pm. Closed Sundays and Mondays. Open everyday in December.

Duties

*Greet and assist customers in selecting jewellery, answering their questions, and providing product information.
*Provide knowledgeable advice on different types of jewellery, metals, gemstones, and maintenance.
*Maintaining a high standard of customer service.
*Process transactions accurately and efficiently, including operating the POS system.*Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing store displays.
*Handle customer inquiries, concerns and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
*Ensure jewellery is securely handled.
*Bondable
*Assist with inventory management and restocking when needed.

Experience

*Previous retail or jewellery experience is preferred, and is a major asset in being selected for an interview.
*Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
*A passion for jewellery and an eagerness to learn.
*Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
*Confident taking initiative
*Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks.
*Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
