Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated RECE Early On Facilitator to join our team in supporting early childhood development and family engagement. In this role, you will lead and facilitate early intervention programs designed to support infants, toddlers and preschoolers with developmental needs, ensuring a nurturing and inclusive environment. Your expertise will help families navigate early childhood services, promote positive developmental outcomes, and foster strong community connections. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in young children’s lives while working with families and other professionals.

Duties

  • Facilitate early intervention sessions for children aged birth to three, focusing on developmental milestones and family-centered goals
  • Collaborate with families and caregivers
  • Provide guidance, resources, and coaching to families to promote effective strategies for child development at home and in community setting
  • Support the implementation of inclusive practices by adapting activities for children with diverse abilities and needs
  • Organize and participate in team meetings, training sessions, and community outreach events to promote program awareness
  • Use computer skills to manage client records, prepare reports, and communicate effectively with team members

Qualifications

  • Valid registration as a Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) with the appropriate regulatory body
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in French is considered an asset
  • Experience working with children in childcare, classroom settings, or early childhood education environments
  • Knowledge of child development principles, special education strategies, and early intervention practices
  • Bilingual skills (English/French) are highly desirable to serve diverse communities effectively
  • Strong communication skills—both written and verbal—to engage families and collaborate with team members
  • Proficiency in computer operation, including data entry, report writing, and using relevant software tools
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time efficiently across multiple cases
  • Leadership qualities that foster teamwork, problem-solving abilities, and proactive engagement in program activities
