Quinte West Youth Center: Program Manager

ideal Youth Centre Program Manager brings not only relevant experience, but also the
passion, vision, and leadership needed to thrive in a not-for-profit environment. This
person is deeply committed to youth empowerment and leads with empathy, strong
communication, and a genuine desire to make a difference.

They are organized and resourceful, able to juggle multiple responsibilities while staying
focused on the Centre’s mission. With a talent for building community partnerships and
engaging with a wide range of stakeholders, they help create lasting impact. Their
understanding of budgeting, grant writing, managing staff and financial reporting
ensures the Centre remains accountable and sustainable. Most importantly, they are
adaptable, ethical, and driven to inspire positive change every day.

Location: Quinte West
Hours: 40 hours a week
9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Monday)
11:00 AM – 7:00 PM (Tuesday to Friday)
Possibility of some weekend shifts
Wage: $24/hour

Key Responsibilities:
 Oversee the daily operations of the Youth Centre including youth membership
 Plan and deliver engaging, youth-focused programs and events
 Build and maintain strong community partnerships
 Build and maintain relationships with local schools
 Complete grant writing and funding applications
 Plan and coordinate fundraising activities
 Create a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment for all youth
 Supervise staff and volunteers
 Perform minimal bookkeeping and maintain accurate financial records

Required Experience/Skills
 Grant writing experience
 Event planning experience
 Experience working with youth
 Basic bookkeeping skills

Required Education/Specialized Training:
 Valid Food Handlers Certificate
 Valid “G” vehicle license

 Standard First Aid and CPR
 Minimum of 2 year college diploma
