Quinte Denture Clinic

We are seeking a motivated, Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team! You will perform clerical and administrative functions in order to drive company success. Ideal candidate will have a medical or dental background and experience with insurance submission, patient care and reception.

Salary: Based on certification and level of experience

Responsibilities:

  • Draft correspondences and other formal documents
  • Greet and assist patients
  • Schedule appointments
  • Patient record keeping
  • Pay invoices
  • Inventory and ordering of supplies (office and clinical)
  • Plan and schedule appointments and events
  • Data entry
  • General housekeeping duties, dust, sweep, mop, patient bathroom etc.
  • Answer inbound telephone calls, make outgoing calls/patient follow ups
  • Perform all other office tasks

Qualifications:

  • Recent experience in office administration or other related fields
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask
  • Self motivated
  • In-Office communication
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Other skills/certificates preferred but not required include: Level II Dental Assisting
  • Previous experience with dental computer software and Quickbooks, Experience in dental sterilization, WHIMIS training certificate , First Aid Certification, Small business accounting

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$24.00 per hour
