Quest-Tech - Belleville

Quest Tech in Belleville is seeking an Industrial Painter to support routine and preventative maintenance painting throughout our manufacturing facility. This role involves completing a variety of specialized painting projects, including large‑scale structures, equipment components, and detailed surface preparation. Responsibilities also include performing inspections, handling cleanups, ensuring proper storage and disposal of paint products, operating painting tools and equipment, and identifying issues to maintain quality and safety standards.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and paint a variety of surfaces, including steel, aluminum, shop‑coated metals, uncoated metals, finished hardware, and accessories.
  • Apply protective powder coatings to equipment and miscellaneous metalwork.

Education & Experience

  • Knowledge of painting methods, surface preparation, and application techniques.
  • Understanding of safe handling, storage, and disposal of paints, chemicals, and cleaning products.
  • Familiarity with proper cleanup procedures and workplace safety practices.
  • Powder coating experience is considered an asset.
