Overview
Paul’s Walls & Sons is seeking a skilled Framer to join their construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in building and framing structures, with experience in various aspects of construction. This role requires proficiency in operating heavy equipment and using both power and hand tools to ensure high-quality workmanship. The Framer will play a crucial role in the successful completion of projects, working collaboratively with other team members to meet deadlines and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

  • Construct frameworks for buildings, including walls, floors, and roofs using wood or metal materials.
  • Operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently to assist in the construction process.
  • Perform concrete forming and finishing tasks to create durable foundations and structures.
  • Install drywall, siding, and other exterior finishes as needed.
  • Utilize power tools and hand tools for precise measurements and cuts during framing activities.
  • Collaborate with other tradespeople to ensure seamless integration of various construction elements.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
  • Assist in heavy lifting and moving of materials as required throughout the project.

Experience

  • Proven experience as a Framer or Carpenter with a strong understanding of construction techniques.
  • Familiarity with heavy equipment operation is preferred.
  • Experience in concrete finishing, drywall installation, siding application, and other related tasks is highly valued.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday.
  • Proficient in using both power tools and hand tools effectively for various construction tasks.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering quality workmanship on every project.
