Summary

Join Brighton Children’s Centre as an On Call Educator in Brighton. In this role, you will support our team in delivering engaging educational experiences that foster children’s development and well-being. Your contribution will help create a positive and enriching environment aligned with our mission to provide exceptional early childhood education.
Responsibilities

  • Support daily activities and educational programs tailored to children’s needs.
  • Assist in creating a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for all children.
  • Collaborate with team members to implement curriculum plans.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a cohesive learning experience.
  • Support children with special needs or disabilities as required.
  • Maintain a clean and organized classroom environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Adapt to varying daily needs and contribute positively to the centre’s team dynamics

Qualifications

  • Must have valid CPR and first aid Level C
  • Must have valid Vulnerable Sector check
  • Registered Early childhood Educator or experience working in a childcare setting preferred.
  • Proven experience working with children in an educational or childcare setting.
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles.
  • Ability to support children with diverse needs, including those with disabilities.
  • Enthusiasm for fostering a nurturing learning environment.
  • Prior experience in special education is an asset.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing schedules and responsibilities.

Pay: $20.00-$28.00 per hour
