About Us: Old Salt Cocktails in a fun and innovative hospitality business with lots of opportunities for advancement. We are a small team of five who get along great and spend the summer out in the sunshine! We serve drinks and snacks to the happy vacationers out in wine country in Prince Edward County.

About the role: Old Salt is looking for an individual who can problem-solve and work independently. Happy to teach you everything you will need to know about this job. You will be required to prep your station and open on time. During open hours, execute orders by cooking and topping the hot dogs. In the quiet time, you will need to keep the grounds clean, including deep cleaning your station, light gardening, sweeping, wiping down tables, clean/stock bathrooms, refill water in handwashing stations, and resetting the games.
Towards the end of your shift, plan to do the prep needed for the next day and begin to clean up what you can before closing. At closing, you will need to shut down your station and then bring in the signs and turn off the music in the space.

Responsibilities:

  • Must have a vehicle to get to our location
  • Dress appropriately: Close toe shoes, sun protection, staff dress code
  • Open / close the station and do daily prep
  • Grill, dress and serve dogs
  • Cleaning and maintenance of Health & Safety Standards in the workspace
  • Keep track of inventory and tell management when things are low

Skills:

  • Food Handlers (willing to obtain)
  • Some Fast Food Experience (bonus!)

Position Location: 883 Closson Rd, Hillier
Terms: Full-time seasonal / Hourly wage $22.20/h  paid biweekly
July and August – 11:30- 6:30 5 shifts a week Tuesday to Sunday (36 hours per week)
May, June, Sept, Oct- Part-time hours are available if you are!
