Company Overview

Nufloors Quinte is a locally owned flooring store committed to delivering high‑quality flooring solutions and exceptional customer experiences. We combine trusted products, expert installation, and modern showroom to help customers make confident design decisions. We are seeking a Sales Representative who brings together design experience, customer service excellence, and a teamwork approach to join our growing team.

Position Summary

The Sales Representative guides customers through the flooring selection process, prepares accurate estimates, and communicates with clients on their project from enquiry to completion.  The ideal candidate has a strong eye for colour and design, a reasonable understanding of construction and installation basics, basic measurement and math skills, and strong interpersonal abilities.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Design & Sales

Consult with clients to understand design preferences, lifestyle needs, and project goals.
Recommend flooring products, colours, textures, and finishes that align with customer vision and budget.
Perform basic room measurements, calculations, and cost estimates.
Provide solutions to customer concerns to ensure a positive, supportive experience.
Maintain a welcoming, organized, and visually appealing showroom environment.

Marketing & Social Media Support

Contribute to social media content and posting as needed.
Ensure consistent branding and messaging across digital platforms.

Qualifications

Experience in sales, interior design, flooring, or construction‑related industries is an asset.
Design sense with excellent colour coordination skills.
Understanding of measurements, calculations, and basic math.
Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship‑building abilities.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Comfortable using MS Office.
Familiarity with social media platforms is an asset.
Availability for part‑time hours, including weekdays, evening and some Saturday’s, with potential to grow into full‑time.

Position Details

In Person part‑time role with potential to transition to full‑time.
Competitive hourly wage based on experience $20-26 per hour plus bonus
Training and ongoing support provided.
Weekday, evening and Saturday availability required.
