Nova Children's Centre

A not-for-profit Children's daycare on Montrose Road, Belleville

About the Role:

– Plan, prepare, and serve nutritious snacks and meals in line with dietary guidelines and the Ministry of Education.
– Assist in developing seasonal menus and ensure meals are peanut-free.
– Prepare 1 hot lunch and 2 snacks daily, on time.
– Purchase food and supplies within budget and maintain kitchen cleanliness.
– Clean and maintain various areas of the centre to ensure a safe, hygienic environment.
– Adhere to health and safety regulations.

– Monday to Friday, with flexible hours between 6:30am -5:30pm

 

The Ideal Candidate will have:

– 2+ years of experience in cooking or childcare settings.
– Knowledge of children’s nutritional needs and food safety standards.
– Safe Food Handlers Certificate and Vulnerable Sector Check.
– Enjoys working in a team and supporting children’s development.
