Job Description/Responsibilities:

The Compliance Coordinator supports NOD Apiary Products in maintaining regulatory compliance across Canada, the United States, Europe, and potential new markets. This role ensures all regulatory submissions, documentation, and procedures are accurate, complete, and compliant with relevant authorities, including PMRA, EPA, and EMA (EudraLex Vol. 4, GMP).

The Compliance Coordinator works closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to facilitate timely approvals and regulatory adherence.

  • Organize, maintain, and manage regulatory documents for NOD Canada, NOD Ireland, and other markets, both electronically and in hard copy.
  • Compile, format, and submit regulatory dossiers for current and new markets.
  • Investigate regulatory requirements for potential new markets.
  • Track and manage recurring regulatory obligations, including annual fees, sales reporting, and renewals.
  • Assist with the preparation and maintenance of Responsibility and Pharmacovigilance Agreements for qualified EU distributors.
  • Coordinate review and approval of new or modified product labels.
  • Maintain and update product documents such as SDS, organic certifications, SME renewals, and other relevant compliance files.
  • Collaborate with the EU QPPV team to ensure regulatory documentation and procedures are accurate and up to date.
  • Monitor and stay current with changing regulatory legislation and requirements in all relevant markets.
  • Contribute to the company’s strategic compliance initiatives and provide tactical support to other departments as needed.
  • Act on behalf of the Director of Compliance during periods of absence.
  • Perform additional compliance-related duties as assigned by the Director of Compliance.

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Canadian regulatory requirements relevant to NOD products; experience with EPA (US) and EMA (EU) is a strong asset.
  • Proven ability to compile and organize complex regulatory data into high-quality dossiers for submission.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet tight deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Minimum 1–3 years of experience in regulatory affairs, pharmaceutical, chemical, or related industries.

Education/Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Science, Life Sciences, Chemistry, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of relevant regulatory experience can substitute for formal education in certain cases.
