Direct Coil Inc., a rapidly growing manufacturer of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration components, is currently looking for young professionals who are excited to join, learn and grow with the Direct Coil Teamwith our Management Training Program Must be a College or University Graduate in Mechanical Engineering or Technology. Equivalent HVAC & Refrigeration experience will also be considered.

Successful candidates will have the unique opportunity to participate in our Office Rotation program. During this program, participants will engage in 2–3-month stints within various key departments at Direct Coil. This rotation will provide exposure to different facets of our technical and business operations, fostering a well-rounded understanding of our industry.

Upon completion of the rotation, individuals will collaborate directly with the Vice President and Senior Management to contribute to and oversee multi-departmental projects. Responsibilities will include assisting in the establishment and achievement of key project timelines, interacting with sales force, customers & suppliers, along with working alongside experienced professionals to drive innovation and efficiency within the organization.

Skills /Qualifications:

Critical thinking and detail-oriented for technical processes

  • Must be able to communicate clearly & concisely with our customer base
  • Demonstrates ability to learn customized software, for example, Product Selection Interfaces
  • Background knowledge and experience with Heat Transfer, HVAC and refrigeration
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; Excel, Outlook and Word
  • Ability to work independently and assume responsibility for managing assigned tasks and projects
  • Ability to work under tight time restrictions and meet deadlines
  • Good interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Experience with AutoCAD or similar 2D drafting
  • Comfort with IT-related problems
  • Must be fluent in written & spoken English.

Your Role Would Entail:

Rotating through office roles as they relate to the manufacturing process

  • Areas could include:
  • Sales
  • Applications
  • Design & Drafting
  • Procurement
  • Shipping
  • Production Planning

· Working with the customers on the selection of coils, fluid coolers and condensers.

· Designing & drafting customized coils, fluid coolers and condensers

· Exposure to the supply chain management

· Potential exposure to logistics and production planning.

  • Creating, reading, and comprehending 3D & 2D models and drawings
  • Performing other duties that may be reasonably requested

Working Conditions and Physical Effort:

· May require handling of objects that can weigh up to 50lbs

· This position requires the employee to sit working on a computer for long periods of time and walking back and forth within the office and the plant.
