We are seeking a skilled and experienced Lawn Maintenance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the lawns and surrounding areas of our clients are kept in excellent condition by performing various tasks such as mowing, trimming and edging.
Key Responsibilities:
- Mowing and trimming lawns to the desired length using appropriate equipment.
- Edging lawns and trimming around trees, flowerbeds, and other landscape features.
- Removing debris from lawns and surrounding areas using rakes, blowers, and other equipment.
- Pruning trees and shrubs to maintain their health and appearance.
- Maintaining and repairing lawn maintenance equipment as needed.
- Providing excellent customer service by responding to client inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Keeping accurate records of work performed, including time and materials used.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least 2 years of experience in lawn maintenance, including mowing, trimming, edging, and pruning.
- Knowledge of lawn maintenance equipment and techniques.
- Ability to operate lawn maintenance equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality work.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies as needed.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and kneel.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions, including heat, cold, and rain.
Working Conditions:
- Work is primarily performed outdoors.
- Work schedule may vary depending on client needs and weather conditions.
- May be required to work weekends and holidays.
