Lawn Maintenance Lead Hand

Join our landscape maintenance team and take the lead in caring for premium residential and commercial properties. At Lamer Landscaping & Snowplowing Ltd., we’re looking for a dependable, detail-focused Lead Hand who can supervise daily operations, motivate staff, and maintain high standards of service quality.
🔨 What You’ll Do
• Lead a maintenance crew performing weekly and seasonal services
• Oversee lawn cutting, garden care, trimming, edging, and cleanups
• Ensure job quality, efficiency, and safe practices
• Communicate with clients and office staff as needed
• Train and mentor junior crew members
• Operate mowers, trimmers, blowers, and power equipment daily
• Track and report completed work and material use
âś… What You Bring
• 2-3+ years of landscape maintenance experience
• Strong leadership skills with a hands-on mindset
• Experience with garden care, turf health, and equipment use
• Able to diagnose basic lawn and plant health issues
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• Valid G license required (clean abstract preferred)
• AR or AZ license is an asset but not required
