Lamer Landscaping & Snowplowing Ltd. is a growing, professional landscaping company proudly serving the Quinte and surrounding area’s. We specialize in high-quality landscape design, installation, lawn maintenance, and outdoor living spaces. We are currently seeking a Certified Red Seal Horticulturalist to join our team.

We are looking for a knowledgeable, hands-on horticultural professional with strong plant expertise and leadership skills. The ideal candidate is passionate about plant health, landscape excellence, and delivering outstanding results for our clients. This position will start Spring 2026.

Responsibilities: Oversee and execute planting, garden installations, and softscape projects, Diagnose plant health issues, pests, and diseases, Develop plant care and maintenance programs, Supervise and train crew members on proper horticultural practices, Perform pruning, fertilizing, mulching, and soil preparation, Communicate professionally with clients regarding plant care and recommendations, Ensure projects are completed efficiently and to company standards.

Qualifications: Red Seal Certification in Horticulture is required. Minimum 3+ Years of landscape/horticulture experience. Strong Knowledge of plant identification, soil health, and pest management. Experience leading or supervising crew members, Valid Ontario G driver’s license with clean driving record, Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions, Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.
