Lamer Landscaping & Snowplowing Ltd. is seeking an experienced Estimator & Account Manager to join our design-build team. This dual-role position is ideal for someone with strong estimating skills, attention to detail, and the ability to build strong client relationships. You’ll be pricing custom landscape projects, overseeing estimates from concept to close, and acting as a key point of contact for clients.
What You’ll Do
Estimate landscape construction projects: patios, retaining walls, pools, decks, fencing, gardens, and more
Read and interpret plans, conduct site visits, take measurements, and verify access
Prepare detailed takeoffs, quantities, pricing, and multi-stage estimates
Collaborate with designers, project managers, and the owner to finalize proposals
Communicate with clients to review scope, expectations, and revisions
Track and manage ongoing estimates, change orders, and approvals
What You Bring
3–5+ years of landscape construction estimating or project coordination
Solid understanding of construction methods, materials, and labor rates
Experience preparing breakdown estimates and pricing multi-stage jobs
Confident communicator with a professional client-facing presence
Proficient with takeoffs, plan reading, and site review
Tech-savvy (Excel, estimating software, CRM tools)
Valid G license and reliable vehicle
