Overview

Klaver Concrete is growing and we are seeking a skilled Concrete Pump Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating concrete pumps on various construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient placing of concrete to designated areas. This role requires a strong understanding of equipment operation, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work collaboratively with other construction professionals, employees, delivery drivers, office staff and clients. We are looking to have our candidate start immediately.

Duties

• Operate concrete pump safely and efficiently on job sites.
• Coordinate with site supervisors and crew members to ensure timely delivery of concrete.
• Perform routine maintenance checks on equipment to ensure optimal performance and ensure daily inspections are completed.
• You will be required to have a flexible schedule, possible early mornings and late evenings as required based on the needs of the customer
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies during operations.
• Communicate proficiently with customers, foreman, laborers, concrete truck drivers and office
• You must maintain and be responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the pump truck
• You must be able to react to problems that arise and be proactive to fix any issues that come up
• You must have a team player attitude
• Winter work is mandatory, you must be willing to work in all types of weather
• You must be an assertive individual who is able to give direction without hesitation

Requirements

• Valid DZ or AZ license
• 3 years of driving experience
• Clean drivers abstract and the ability to provide it
• General operator experience
• Flexible schedule – early mornings and possible late nights
• Must be able to lift 100lbs
• Pumping experience preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $33.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week

Experience:

• concrete pumping: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

• Class AZ or DZ Licence (required)
