Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled professional with expertise in residential renovations and repairs to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various construction and renovation disciplines, demonstrating proficiency in both technical skills and safety standards. This role involves working on residential projects, performing a variety of repairs that require precision. The successful applicant will contribute to high-quality home improvement and renovation projects, ensuring customer satisfaction and adherence to project timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Must have own vehicle and tools
  • Perform carpentry tasks including framing, cabinetry/vanity installation, flooring installation, tile laying, and drywall work
  • Knowledge in bathroom installation, and renovation, including plumbing, installation of showers/tubs and vanities
  • Install plumbing systems, minor electrical work and fixtures following industry standards and safety protocols
  • Apply paint, caulking, and restoration techniques to improve or repair existing structures
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure project deadlines are met while maintaining quality standards
  • Maintain a clean and organized worksite to promote safety and efficiency

Experience

  • Proven experience in residential construction or trades such as carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, or related fields
  • Hands-on experience with finishing work, tile laying, flooring installation is highly desirable
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices within residential construction environments
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with minimal supervision
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in all aspects of the trade. Candidates with a diverse skill set across multiple trades will be considered an asset. Pay: $24.00-$35.00 per hour
