Hearing clinic

We are looking for someone who is friendly, organized, and professional to join our busy clinic. The receptionist is the first point of contact for our clients and plays an important role in creating a welcoming, comfortable, and positive experience. You will be required to be compassionate, dependable, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities are:

Greet clients warmly and provide excellent customer service.
Answer and direct incoming phone calls and respond to client inquiries.
Schedule, confirm, and reschedule appointments.
Manage the clinic calendar and maintain accurate client information.
Check clients in and out and process payments and payment plans when required.
Complete administrative and clerical duties, including filing and data entry.
Communicate with patients regarding appointments, hearing aid services, repairs, and follow-up care.                              Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming reception area.
Assist the hearing healthcare professionals with day-to-day administrative needs.
Protect client privacy and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Handle a busy front desk while remaining calm, professional, and attentive to clients.                                                                    Clean and check client  hearing aids to assess any problems.                                                                                                              Troubleshoot and connect hearing aids to cell phones. Coordinate hearing aid orders, deliveries, repairs, and client pickups as required.

Qualifications

Previous reception, administrative, medical office, or customer service experience is an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to multitask and prioritize in a busy environment.
Comfortable using computers, email (Outlook), scheduling systems, and basic office software (Amplify).
Professional, friendly, and compassionate manner.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Experience in a hearing clinic or healthcare setting is an asset, but training will be provided.
