GFL Environmental is looking for full-time DZ Driver Loaders to support the Residential Solid Recycling Waste Division in Belleville. The Driver/Loader is responsible for residential curbside recycling pickup.

Previous DZ Driving Experience is good to have but not mandatory.

Starting pay: $21.53 per hour

Full time drivers can earn up to $60000 a year.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Residential curbside recycling pickup and transportation
  • Satisfy customer needs for service
  • Ensure that service is completed in accordance with established company policies and contract obligations
  • Responsible for daily pre and post trip inspections of trucks assigned
  • Complete daily routes as assigned by the Route supervisors
  • Perform of day driver check-ins to ensure complete and accurate paperwork
  • May perform some additional responsibilities as assigned by the Route Supervisors

Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:

  • DZ License with a clean abstract
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer focus
  • Proven ability to multi-task & ability to prioritize tasks
