Gas Technician

We are currently seeking a qualified individual for the position of Inspector (G2). The ideal candidate will have expertise in inspecting propane and furnace oil equipment, ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform thorough inspections of propane systems, furnace oil equipment, including furnaces and tanks, to ensure they operate safely and efficiently.

Accurately document inspection findings and create detailed reports outlining compliance status and any identified issues.

Collaborate with compliance and quality assurance teams to address compliance issues and implement necessary corrective actions.

Stay informed about the latest industry regulations and inspection techniques by participating in ongoing training sessions.

Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding the results of inspections, providing insights and recommendations for improvements.

Assist in the development and refinement of inspection procedures and checklists to enhance the inspection process.

Provide after-hours on-call service on a rotational basis to address urgent inspections as required.

Qualifications:

G2 certification required.

OBT2-3 certification an asset

Proven experience in inspection roles, preferably within household and commercial properties.

Strong attention to detail and excellent observational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.

Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards.

Valid G license with satisfactory drivers abstract.
