Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Gardener to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for horticulture and a strong understanding of landscape maintenance. This role involves working outdoors, in all kinds of weather, tending to various garden areas, and ensuring the health and beauty of plants and landscapes. The Gardener will utilize hand tools and power tools to perform a variety of tasks, contributing to the overall aesthetic and functionality of the gardens.

Duties

  • Maintain garden areas by planting, watering, weeding, edging and pruning shrubs.
  • Utilize hand tools such as shovels, rakes, wheelbarrow and pruners for various gardening tasks.
  • Operate power tools including weedwackers and shears safely and effectively.
  • Perform landscape maintenance tasks including mulching, edging, weeding and pruning shrubs.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tools and work areas to promote safety and efficiency.

Experience

  • Previous experience in gardening or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
  • Familiarity with hand tools and power tools commonly used in gardening tasks.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in an outdoor environment.
  • Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards in garden aesthetics.

Pay: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
