Frazier Industrial Company Ltd. is a leading manufacturer of structural steel pallet rack systems, committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Our Trenton facility is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, safety‑minded Material Handler who is eager to learn, contribute, and be cross‑trained in Shipping to support our busy plant operations.

Position Summary

The Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of materials throughout the facility, supporting production flow, inventory accuracy, and outbound shipments. This role will be cross‑trained in Shipping to provide coverage and support for order picking, packing, staging, and documentation.

Key Responsibilities

Material Handling

  • Safely move raw materials, components, and finished goods throughout the plant
  • Load and unload trucks using forklifts and other material handling equipment
  • Deliver materials to production lines according to schedules and priorities
  • Maintain clean, organized staging and storage areas
  • Perform cycle counts and assist with inventory accuracy
  • Follow all safety procedures, PPE requirements, and equipment protocols

Shipping (Cross‑Training)

  • Pick, pack, and stage customer orders according to shipping requirements
  • Prepare labels, packing slips, and basic shipping documentation
  • Assist with load preparation, and scrap
  • Support LTL, courier, and freight pickups
  • Communicate with Shipping Supervisor and Production to resolve shortages or discrepancies
  • Ensure accuracy and quality of outbound shipments

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $17.60 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

  • Trenton, ON K8V 6R7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:

  • Material Handling: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • Forklift Licence (preferred)
