First Adventure is seeking a dedicated and passionate Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) to join their team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality care and education in a safe, nurturing environment that supports the development and well-being of every child.

Qualifications

  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
  • Registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE)
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification
  • Up-to-date immunizations
  • Criminal Reference Check (issued within the last 6 months)

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs for children.
  • Foster an inclusive, engaging, and safe learning environment.
  • Communicate effectively with families and team members.
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Position Details

  • Hours: 35–40 hours per week (7–8 hours per day), Monday to Friday.
  • Shift: Rotating shifts between 7:00 a.m. and 5:45 p.m.
  • Wage: $25.96 per hour plus 4% vacation pay.
  • Contract: One-year term with potential for extension.
