Peter Boyer Chevrolet Buick GMC is seeking a driven, professional, and customer-focused Financial Services Manager to join our leadership team.

The Financial Services Manager plays a critical role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while maximizing dealership profitability through the presentation and sale of finance, leasing, warranty, protection products, and aftermarket solutions. This individual serves as the bridge between the customer, lenders, and dealership operations, ensuring every transaction is completed accurately, efficiently, ethically, and in compliance with all applicable regulations.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, relationship-driven, detail-oriented, and capable of thriving in a fast-paced environment while maintaining the highest standards of integrity and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

  • Present financing, leasing, and payment options tailored to each customer’s needs and budget.
  • Arrange vehicle financing through a network of lending institutions and financial partners.
  • Present and sell extended warranties, protection packages, maintenance plans, GAP coverage, appearance protection, and other aftermarket products.
  • Maintain strong relationships with banks, credit unions, manufacturer programs, and finance sources.
  • Ensure all finance transactions comply with OMVIC regulations, lender requirements, privacy legislation, and dealership policies.
  • Prepare, review, and submit all required documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Achieve departmental revenue and product penetration objectives while maintaining a customer-first approach.
  • Work closely with the sales team to ensure smooth vehicle deliveries and a seamless ownership experience.
  • Follow up on outstanding stipulations and funding requirements to ensure timely contract completion.
  • Maintain product knowledge on all available finance and protection offerings.
  • Assist customers with credit challenges by identifying suitable financing solutions.
  • Support dealership CSI initiatives and contribute to positive customer satisfaction outcomes.
  • Monitor funding schedules, contract status, lender chargebacks, and cancellation activity.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development programs.

Qualifications

  • Previous automotive Financial Services Manager experience preferred.
  • Proven ability to meet or exceed finance and product sales objectives.
  • Strong understanding of automotive lending, leasing, credit bureau analysis, and lender programs.
  • Knowledge of OMVIC regulations and automotive compliance requirements.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Proficient with dealership management systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • OMVIC certification required.
  • Valid Ontario Driver’s License with a clean driving record.
