Dr. Jim’s Computer Repair is seeking an experienced and reliable Cell Phone Repair Technician to join their team. They are looking for someone with strong diagnostic abilities, excellent technical skills, and the ability to deliver outstanding customer service in a fast‑paced environment.

The ideal candidate is confident repairing a wide range of smartphones, can multitask effectively, and is comfortable engaging directly with customers while managing repair tickets and workflow.

Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair smartphones, including screen replacements, batteries, charging ports, cameras, and other hardware issues.
  • Diagnose and repair game consoles, including HDMI and USB ports, and related hardware components.
  • Troubleshoot device issues quickly, accurately, and with attention to detail.
  • Create, update, and manage repair tickets in the service system.
  • Communicate clearly with customers regarding repair timelines, recommendations, and device status.
  • Handle multiple repairs simultaneously while maintaining quality workmanship.

Minimum Requirements

  • At least 1 year of experience in cell phone repair.
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
  • Experience repairing major smartphone brands (iPhone, Samsung, etc.).
  • Ability to multitask and work efficiently under pressure.
  • Comfortable interacting with customers in a professional manner.
  • Reliable, detail‑oriented, and able to follow established procedures.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe repair workstation.
  • Provide customer service at the front counter as needed.

Preferred Qualifications (Assets)

  • Motherboard‑level repair experience.
  • Micro‑soldering skills.
  • Experience repairing tablets or computers.

Expected hours: 10.0 – 30.0 per week
