Creating Sweet Smiles since 1950

Company History:

Founded in 1950 in Italy, Donini Chocolate began with a passion for creating exceptional chocolate using traditional European recipes and time-honoured techniques.  In 1979, the company relocated its operations to Belleville, Ontario, where we have proudly continued our chocolate-making journey for over four decades as a proudly Canadian-owned and operated manufacturer.

With 75 years of chocolate-making expertise, Donini has built a legacy rooted in quality, craftsmanship, and innovation.  While honouring our traditional chocolate-making roots, we have continued to evolve by embracing modern manufacturing practices, technology, and new ways of meeting the changing needs of our customers.

Today, Donini specializes in the production of dark, milk, white chocolate, and compound coatings, providing high-quality chocolate solutions to industrial and retail customers across North America.  We combine our rich heritage with the precision, flexibility, and performance required by today’s food manufacturing industry.
