DELIVERY DRIVER/CRANE OPERATOR

Ontario Truss & Wall (OTW) is a locally operated, top quality Truss and Wall Design and Manufacturer. Founded in 1982, OTW has been a staple in the local construction industry for over 35 years. Quality, Design and Precision has allowed OTW to efficiently grow year over year, which requires a growing team. The current opportunity at OTW is for an AZ Truck Delivery Driver.

The successful candidates will be a team player, and willing to work extra hours when required. They will hold a valid AZ Truck Licence, with a clean CVOR record, have experience with wood lifts or other similar lifts, experience with large deliveries and work independently. Crane Certification would be considered an asset, though we are willing to train.

Drivers shall be responsible for but not necessarily limited to the following:

  • Job Duties consist of deliveries, loading trailers if shipper is behind; or if no deliveries, hooking up loads, washing trucks and trailers and doing general maintenance.
  • Adhering to all Company policies and procedures, including all ministry of transportation and health and safety policies, procedures, rules and regulations.
  • Loading and delivering orders to job sites safely and efficiently.
  • Maintaining a clean driving record and up to date driving license.
  • Maintaining equipment (tractor, crane, trailer and tools) at all times and notifying the Company of any malfunctioning equipment.
  • Upgrading skills for maintaining job expertise, and maintaining required certifications.
  • As a Company representative, maintain positive communications and rapport with all customers while on the road.
  • Coordinating and cooperating with all departments to achieve efficiency and quality.
  • Assisting with the training of new employees when required.

Qualifications:

· Experience with Truss/Wood Working Equipment is considered an asset

· Works well with minimal supervision

· Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

· Organizational skills and Attention to Detail

· Flexible to support where needed

· Valid AZ drivers license

· Strong work ethic and positive Team attitude

· Crane Experience is considered an asset.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00-$32.00 per hour
