In the role of Cleaner, you will be essential in maintaining a clean and safe environment for our facilities. Reporting to the Manager and Owner, your core responsibility will be to perform cleaning tasks efficiently while utilizing your premium skills in commercial or residential cleaning and facilities maintenance. Your ability to manage time effectively and communicate well will enhance our team’s productivity. Additionally, your experience in custodial work and customer service will ensure that our spaces meet high standards of cleanliness and satisfaction. Responsibilities

  • Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and dusting to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
  • Provide excellent customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns from clients.
  • Manage time efficiently to ensure all cleaning tasks are completed within designated timeframes.
  • Assist with heavy lifting and moving of furniture or equipment as needed.
  • Communicate effectively with team members to ensure a coordinated cleaning effort.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in cleaning and custodial services
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks
  • Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
  • Familiarity with commercial cleaning practices and facilities maintenance is an asset.

Important Note

  • This is a seasonal job that ends in October. There is the possibility of continued employment for next season.
