Purpose & Scope of Position:

Reporting to the Supervisor of Marina Operations, the Marina Attendant will provide services for the Trent Port Marina facilities, boaters and gathering hall guests. This position provides excellent customer service and acts as an ambassador for the City of Quinte West. The position is responsible for taking reservations for seasonal and transient boaters, cash handling and use of Point of Sale (POS) software, working at the fueling station assisting boaters, working as a canteen operator preparing food and serving ice cream and providing custodial and maintenance services throughout the Marina including cleaning public and boaters’ washrooms, boaters’ lounge, gathering hall, office, staff room and all other indoor Marina areas.

Education and Work Experience Requirements: 

The position will require a minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent and a valid Pleasure Craft Operator Card (PCOC). A valid Class G Driver’s Licence and a safe driving record is also required.

A minimum of one (1) year of experience in a customer service setting is required. Demonstrated interpersonal and team skills are necessary. Previous boating or recreational marine experience is considered a preferred asset.

Remuneration: 2025 C.U.P.E. Salary Grid Band 3  – $22.56/hour.  This posting is for an existing seasonal vacancy. The hours of work are 40 hours per week from April to October and include evenings, weekends and public holidays.
