Monday – Friday 7 am – 5 pm (Position not ideal for students)

Cedar Grove Construction is seeking a reliable and hardworking General Labourer to join our growing construction team. The successful candidate will assist with a variety of residential and commercial construction projects and must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform construction duties including but not limited to: eavestroughs, soffit fascia, siding, garages, decks, fencing, roofing, renovations, and additions
  • Load and unload construction materials and tools
  • Operate hand and power tools safely
  • Follow workplace safety procedures and site instructions
  • Support skilled trades on job sites as required
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform roofing, siding, and eavestrough work
  • Valid Ontario G Driver’s Licence
  • Reliable transportation required (no city transit available)
  • Physically able to lift, carry, and perform manual labour
  • Comfortable working at heights
  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Skills and Abilities:

  • Strong work ethic and reliability
  • Ability to be on time and meet deadlines
  • Comfortable working outdoors in different elements
  • Previous construction or general labour experience
  • Working at Heights certification
  • WHMIS training
