Cannifton Garage

As an Automotive Service Advisor, you are the heartbeat of our automotive service center. You aren’t just selling repairs; you’re building trust. You will be the primary liaison between our customers and our service technicians, ensuring that every vehicle is maintained to the highest standards and every customer leaves feeling confident and informed.

What You’ll Do

  • Be the Face of the Shop: Greet customers warmly, listen to their concerns.
  • Translate Tech to Text: Explain complex mechanical issues and necessary repairs to customers in a way that’s easy to understand.
  • Manage the Workflow: Coordinate with the Shop Foreman to schedule repairs and provide customers with accurate time estimates.
  • Consult & Advise: Identify key maintenance needs based on manufacturer’s specifications and vehicle history.
  • Quality Control: Review repair orders for accuracy and ensure the vehicle is ready for delivery when promised.

What We’re Looking For

  • The “People” Person: Excellent communication skills and the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
  • Industry Knowledge: Previous experience in automotive service or a strong understanding of vehicle systems is preferred.
  • Sales Savvy: Ability to explain the value of preventative maintenance without being “pushy.”
  • Tech Literacy: Proficiency with POS ( Point Of Sale) systems such as Protractor is a huge plus. Candidates should possess strong digital literacy, with particular emphasis on Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general cloud-based interfaces.
  • Valid Driver’s License: A valid G license is required.
