Bright Beginnings of Tweed and District operate two warm, inclusive rural childcare centres committed to creating safe, inspiring spaces where children can explore, learn, and grow. Guided by How Does Learning Happen?, we partner with families to nurture each child’s unique potential.
The Role
As a RECE, you’ll design and deliver play-based learning experiences, foster positive relationships, and ensure a safe, caring environment. You’ll observe and document children’s development, collaborate with families and colleagues, and maintain compliance with the Child Care and Early Years Act (CCEYA) and CECE standards.
What You Bring
Current registration with the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE).
Knowledge of How Does Learning Happen? and the CCEYA.
Standard First Aid & CPR Level C, and a current Vulnerable Sector Check.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at child level, bending, standing, walking and use of stairs
A passion for early learning and child development, strong observation, documentation, and communication skills.
