  • Afternoon shift from 3 pm – 11:30 pm (+50 cent premium)

General Labourer

The top priorities concerning the successful applicant will be to possess excellent knowledge of operating machines and to have good judgment for making quality parts to specification. The ideal candidate will be able to work with minimal supervision and pay attention to detail. Due to the nature of this position, a patient individual who shows maturity and judgment would be best suited. The performance will be measured by the daily output, the quality of parts and the deadlines being met.

What does a General Labourer do?

  • Regular inspection of manufactured components to drawing requirements.
  • Keep the machine running to the standard specified on PRS and Process Instructions.
  • Feed components to the machine to maintain the continuous process.
  • Work with set-up/lead hands to ensure that production schedules are met.
  • Other related duties as required.

What you bring to the table:

Must have:

  • Machine training.
  • Good attention to detail.
  • High school diploma.
  • Blueprint reading skills.
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Good work ethic.
  • Basic math skills.

Desired:

  • M/C set-up experience.
  • Team player attitude.
  • Excel Skills

Belleville location

Rate information: $18/hr, PLUS SHIFT PREMIUM

Increase possible after 3-month probationary period. Rate is to be reviewed consistently.

Previous experience is required, but we are open to individuals with previous transferable skills such as: Machine Operator, Production Worker, Equipment Operator, Manufacturing
