About the role:

We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking DZ Driver/ Labourer, to join our team.  This position combines professional driving and general labour duties. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, physically capable and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and changing day to day tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

Driving Duties:

  • Operate DZ vehicles safely and in compliance with all provincial and federal regulations
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintain accurate logbooks
  • Transport materials, equipment or products to and from designated locations
  • Ensure loads and properly secured and transported safely
  • Communicate effectively with dispatch or supervisors regarding routes, schedules and deliveries

Labour Duties:

  • Assist with loading and unloading materials
  • Perform general labour tasks such as cleanup, equipment handling and basic maintenance
  • Support on-site crews as needed
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Follow all company safety procedures and guidelines

Qualifications:

  • Strong Mechanical aptitude, experience with tools and equipment is an asset
  • Valid DZ drivers license in good standing
  • Clean Drivers Abstract(recent copy required)
  • Strong understand of road safety and transportation and regulations
  • Ability to perform physical labour, including lifting, bending and work outdoors
  • Reliable, punctual and able to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Previous experience in labour or driving rols is considered an asset
  • Must have dependable vehicle to get to and from work

Working Conditions:

  • Combination of driving and physical labour
  • Outdoor work in various weather conditions
  • Occasional overtime or weekend work depending on operational needs
