Position Summary
A Food & Beverage Server provides exceptional guest service across multiple food and beverage areas, including on-course beverage cart service, clubhouse restaurant and bar service, and support for tournaments and special events.

This role offers variety, flexibility, and cross-training in a fast-paced golf course environment while working closely with the Food & Beverage team to ensure a positive guest experience.

 

Duties & Responsibilities
On-Course & Beverage Cart Service
Greet golfers in a friendly and professional manner.

Serve food and beverages to guests on the golf course using the beverage cart.

Follow assigned cart routes and operate safely around golfers and course conditions.

Handle cash and electronic payments accurately using POS systems.

Restock, clean, and maintain the beverage cart; assist with opening and closing duties.

 

Clubhouse Restaurant & Bar Service
Provide food and beverage service to Members and Guests in the clubhouse restaurant and bar.

Take orders, deliver food and drinks promptly, and ensure guest satisfaction.

Monitor alcohol consumption and comply with Smart Serve guidelines.

Maintain clean, organized, and presentable service and dining areas.

Complete side duties such as restocking, cleaning, table setup, and closing procedures.

 

Events, Tournaments & Outings
Assist with banquet and event setup, service, and breakdown.

Support food and beverage service during golf tournaments and group events.

Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth event execution.

 

General Responsibilities
Deliver a consistently positive guest experience.

Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors.

Follow all health, safety, and food handling standards.

Perform additional duties as assigned to support operations.

 

Skills, Abilities & Attributes
Guest-focused with a friendly, professional attitude.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to multitask and adapt to different service environments.

Comfortable working both indoors and outdoors.

Knowledge of POS systems an asset.

Interest in golf or golf course operations considered an asset.

Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, holidays, and peak golf times.

Professional appearance and organized, energetic approach to work.

Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs and remain on your feet for extended periods.

 

Education & Experience
Smart Serve Certification required.

Previous hospitality, food & beverage, or customer service experience preferred.

Golf course, restaurant, bar, or beverage cart experience considered an asset.
