We are looking for an Occupational Therapy Assistant/Physiotherapy Assistant (OTA/PTA) to join our innovative and dynamic multidisciplinary team of therapists.

What you will do?

Under the supervision of the therapist, OTA and PTA interventions may include:

  • Stroke rehabilitation
  • Functional mobility and transfer training
  • Home Exercise Programs (HEP) to improve balance, strength and ROM for function
  • Home safety, falls prevention, and energy conservation education
  • ADL and IADL training to progress independence
  • Cognitive/perceptual home programs

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Graduate of a Physiotherapy /Occupational Therapist Assistant 2-year diploma program (required)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong clinical skills and client-centred approach
  • Excellent interpersonal, time management and organizational skills
  • Must have access to a reliable vehicle and possess a valid Ontario Driver’s License.
